One of the things we want to do with this blog is give strategy advice about which players we think might be good to target each week. Because our contests are weekly, matchups are very important in selecting your team. Keep that in mind as you look at the draft list. Here are some guys we think are good choices in week 3:
Travis Henry, RB, DEN: Henry has a great matchup at home against a Jacksonville run defense that gave up 282 yards to the Titans in week 1. He should be one of the top RBs this week.
Brian Westbrook, RB, PHI: The Eagles have a must-win game this week. McNabb and the passing attack have looked dreadful. Look for Westbrook to play a huge role in the offense against the Lions. He can put up gaudy numbers in our point-per-reception format.
Clinton Portis, RB, WAS: The Giants defense is not stopping anyone. Period. Jason Campbell and the Redskins passing game have looked good through two games, so the G-Men won't be able to focus on Portis. If he can stay healthy (always a concern for Portis), look for a big game.
Bernard Berrian, WR, CHI: Listen, I don't like picking a guy who relies on Rex Grossman to get him the ball, but Berrian has emerged as the clear #1 target in Chicago and the Dallas defense is giving up 300 yds/game through the air through the first two games. Plug Berrian into your lineup near the end of the draft.
Larry Fitzgerald/Anquan Boldin, WR, ARI: After a disappointing week 1 performance, these guys rebounded last week to put up solid numbers. Everyone knows Baltimore has a wicked rushing defense, but their passing D has only been middle-of-the-pack so far. This Arizona duo is as consistent as it gets at WR. Don't hesitate to sign them up.

Love the site and the blog. I think you missed big here though when you failed to mention Shaun Alexander. He is going up against a Cincinnati's D that gave up over 200 yards to Jamel Lewis (gross!) and had seven catches for 52 yards last week. I'm gunning for him in all my drafts.
